As a former prima ballerina for The Bolshoi Ballet and The Royal Ballet, Natalie Burn has leveraged her talent and education in choreography and the performing arts to pursue her love of acting. Upon moving to California from her native country Ukraine, Natalie was admitted to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in West Hollywood, and eventually inducted as a lifetime member into the prestigious The Actors Studio, where she has become one of few actresses of Ukrainian origin.
Burn’s latest role as the producer and female lead actress for her new action thriller film “Acceleration,” starring Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Liddell, and Danny Trejo aims to empower and be a top role model for artistic women within the entertainment industry. In addition to her past achievements, Natalie also recently appeared in the comedy ‘The Comeback Trail’ starring Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, and Tommy Lee Jones directed by George Gallo.
As a result of her international background, impressive athleticism, and the ability to speak four languages, Natalie caught the attention of numerous Hollywood industry players and quickly obtained supporting roles in major motion pictures. Burn’s breakout roles included: ‘The Expendables 3’ starring Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, where she played the wife of Mel Gibson; in addition to, ‘Mechanic: Resurrection,’ alongside Jason Statham and Jessica Alba, and ‘Criminal,’ with Gary Oldman and Kevin Costner. Natalie was also part of a big ensemble, including Sharon Stone, Selma Blair, Courtney Cox, and Susan Sarandon, within the drama feature film ‘Mothers and Daughters.’
As Natalie’s acting credits and experience continue to grow, she has been landing leading roles within the independent film market; the perfect opportunity for her to also absorb the art of producing. Subsequently, Natalie starred and produced her first independent feature film with her company 7Heaven Productions ‘Awaken/Left To Die,’ co-starring Darryl Hannah, Vinnie Jones, Robert Davi, and Edward Furlong, which won multiple awards in the festival circuit. Moreover, Natalie continued to star in multiple independent movies, some of her recent credits include: “The Executioners,” directed by Giorgio Serafini, “Hard Night Falling” directed by Giorgio Bruno, “Obsessed: The Split” directed by John Real, and “Hollow Point” directed by Daniel Zirilli.
